Sewing classes in Princeton, Texas
A warm place to learn the slow, practical magic of making something beautiful with your own hands.
The quiet craft
Every garment you have ever worn was sewn by a human at a machine. Sewing is not any less relevant or any less useful now. Rather, it is a way to gain creative and practical access to a fabric-reliant world around you.
Look around any room: the curtains shading your eyes, the aprons donned over Sunday bests, the pillows you rest your head on, the bags that become a second set of hands, even the towel used after a summer day at the pool. Sewing gives you access to all of it. Not only will you be able to mend or repair anything you want to preserve (creating less waste and costing YOU less money), but you can also add your own personality and whimsy to anything made out of fabric.
Featured course
The flagship course is small, joyful, and intentionally paced so the skill has time to settle into your hands.

Loving stitches
The pieces to the left are Hannah's handiwork: made slowly, stitched lovingly, and full of the whimsy that becomes possible when you know how to sew.
This is the kind of creative confidence Hem & Gather teaches.
